Your plant deserves security as resilient as its engineering.
Service for photovoltaic plants with battery storage – protecting your inventory, data and operational continuity.
Energy infrastructure is increasingly digital – and increasingly targeted. We built Secure Energy because no generic cybersecurity firm understands what a BESS system actually does, how SCADA network behaves at the POC, or why an untracked battery is an unmanaged liability. We do. And we designed this service around that knowledge.
The Vulnerabilites no one talks about
Most plants owners focus on generation performance and grid compliance. But there are three security exposures that sit just beneath the surface – and any of them can cost you far more than a missed production target.
Battery shrinkage and untracked inventory
When batteries don´t sell in given dispatch cycle, they accumulate. Without reliable traceability, a count discrepancies appear, recycling records become unreliable, and the opportunity for theft – of high-value assets – grows quietly. Most plants discover this problem only when auditors ask for proof.
Unprotected energy data in transit
Your SCADA system, energy meters, and POC communications are transmitting commercially sensitive data at all times. Without encryption and access controls, that data is vulnerable to interception, manipulation, or exfiltration – with consequences that range from billing disputes to regulatory exposure.
Operational blind spots in the OT network
Inverters, BESS controllers, and grid interfaces are operational technology (OT) devices – and they are rarely included in standard IT security assessments. A single compromised device can cascade into a production halt, a violated offtake agreement, or a reportable incident.
